As is tradition, the Top Non-Subsidised (Independent) Schools in the NSC was announced at the Gauteng Department of Education press conference at the JCE on the 3^rd of January.

The top schools are as follows:

First place:  Crawford College Pretoria

Second place:  Crawford College Sandton

Third place:  Crawford College Lonehill 

In addition to this remarkable achievement, Aliya Mukadam received the award for the Top Independent School Candidate with an average of 96.19%
