The possibility of starting a private school in Malmesbury was being investigated by individuals
as early as 1996, as there was concern that large classes in the government schools hampered
good teaching.
On 19th January 1999, the Christian Private School Malmesbury opened its doors,
boasting nine learners and three teachers. We are thankful to report that we are still growing in
learners every year.
The new teaching dispensation has indeed set new challenges to our community and it is
with sincere gratitude that we can affirm that the need for alternative education continues
to grow and that our school is going from strength to strength.
