Ligno Academy is situated in Pretoria. In this area there are no registered specialized schools. We accommodate children that struggle in a big class environment.
 
The school is functioning as a help center. This center focuses on the principals of individualized education. Individualized education is when the focus point of the education moves from the educator that teaches the learner to self actualization. This is where the learner is guided by the facilitator to self explore and learn. This concept accommodates the child to work on his own pace and level. We provide smaller classes and individualized attention by trained and specialized facilitators.
 
Ligno Academy is trying to help with the educational problems by specializing in a broad spectrum of learners with learning difficulties with specific needs: Autism, Dyslexia, Asperger Syndrome, Tourette syndrome, ADD, ADHD, Behavioral, Emotional problems and several Gifted Pupils.
 
Learners from as far as the United Kingdom, Namibia and the United States of America have enrolled in Ligno Academy Academy. We had learners from areas outside Gauteng like Malelane and Witbank. We also receive enquiries from countries like Germany, Nigeria and Zambia.
